What is Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery?

It is the most commonly used obesity surgery procedure today. It is commonly known as Gastric sleeve surgery.

Sleeve gastrectomy is a laparoscopic (closed) surgery. The operation is performed by cutting out 70-80% of the stomach  The operation time is approximately 20 minutes. It is made through 4-5 incisions, the longest of which is 1.5 cm, opened from the abdomen.
