Obesity and Diabetes

Obesity is a primary risk factor in the development of diabetes. 85% of individuals with diabetes (diabetes) are obese.

Turkey Diabetes Association indicates that Obesity increases risk of diabetes 93 times in women and 42 times in men. In the first 6 months after sleeve gastrectomy; type 2 diabetes is threated approximately 80%.

Medication and insulin can be used in the treatment of diabetes. However, weight loss and a healthy diet are other treatment methods of diabetes.
